Broadcast Steel is a platform for the development and testing of new features and technologies under consideration for application on the Steel Spider website (www.steelspider.com) that we also run. Steel Spider provides five platforms that steel buyers and sellers use to easily and inexpensively meet, interact, exchange information and complete transactions:

1. Searchable Multi-Supplier Inventory
2. Send Email Offerings to Buyers
3. Send Email Inquiries to Steel Sellers
4. Run Steel Auctions
5. Search a Steel Company Facility Directory

In addition, Broadcast Steel helps the chapter officers of selected non-profit organizations manage their database of the people they regularly contact (Contact List). Multiple officers can each add and update the contact information in the Contact List, whether members or non-members. The contact list can be downloaded into an Excel file for backing up the contact list.

Broadcast Steel can be used to by a Chapter to send emails, such as meeting announcements and newsletter distributions to some or all of those people in your Contact List. An email can contain up to 4 attachments.

The site also provides for the registration of those attending a Chapter's event. Optionally, the sign-up sheet can display the names and company of those who have already registered. A Meeting Roster is maintained and can be exported so that meeting rosters and name tags can be printed.

This site is provided as a free service for selected organizations that support networking in the steel industry to use.
